Galileo Gambit, the Allan Savory variation

A fragment from a documentary made by Dutchman Marijn Poels I see being used frequently (on Twitter for instance) to criticise the practice of established science. The statements coming from Allan Savory are just a variation of the fallacy known as the Galileo Gambit. It’s an immunisation strategy against science-based arguments criticising one’s favourite pet theory.

Four screenshots from the fragment with Allan Savory

You can find the fragment here for instance. For a scientific critique of Savory’s own ideas, see Skeptical Science.
