Dutch crop circle expert Janet Ossebaard suddenly became internationally famous in 2020 with her conspiracy documentary Fall of the Cabal. Shortly afterward, she more or less disappeared from view herself, continuing to work on a sequel with her partner Cyntha Koeter at various locations in Europe.
On 22 December 2023, news broke that Ossebaard’s body had been found in her camper van in Sweden. A few weeks earlier (on 16 November), she had left Koeter’s residence in a suicidal state, and police assume she ended her life that very day.
Together with Peter Zegers, I published an extensive debunk of Fall of the Cabal on this site and this week we wrote sort of an In Memoriam about Ossebaard for the international version of the French website Conspiracy Watch.
