Does research show that bubbles in soft drinks are causing obesity? Probably not.

Research from Birzait University appears to show that it is the carbon dioxide in soft drinks that contributes most to weight gain and not the (artificial) sugars in these beverages. However, this study seems not to be very convincing after a critical look.
